Tl-the contact owns a 2008 BMW 328-I. The contact received a recall notification for NHTSA campaign number: 17v676000 ( electrical system ) and 17v683000 ( engine and engine cooling ) and stated that the manufacturer had failed to repair the vehicle with in a reasonable amount of time. The dealer a&l BMW, 3780 william penn hwy, monroeville, PA 15146, confirmed that parts were not available to perform the recall repairs. The manufacturer was not made aware of the issue. The contact had not experienced failure. VIN tool confirmed parts are not available. Bp.

2 Engine Cooling System problem of the 2000 BMW 3 Series

Failure Date: 02/06/2007

During hwy operation of my vehicle, without warning the coolant expansion tank ruptured with a 7 inch long gap.
