Tl- the contact owns a 2007 BMW 750li. The contact stated that while driving at approximately 55 mph, the brake pedal was applied and the brakes failed to respond. The vehicle was towed to a dealer where the vehicle was serviced under NHTSA campaign id number: 10v446000 (service brakes, hydraulic). The contact stated that the vacuum lines were replaced but waiting on the manufacturer¿s approval for the brake booster and master cylinder repairs. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 60,000. Djr.

Failure Date: 09/22/2011

The contact owns a 2006 BMW 750li. The contact stated that while driving approximately 15 mph, she applied the brakes, but the brakes did not respond. The technician stated that the master cylinder, vacuum supply line, and brake booster would have to be replaced under the recall associated with NHTSA campaign id number 10v446000 (service brakes, hydraulic:power assist:vacuum).
