When I get to a stop sign, and a stop light, when trying to accelerate after a complete stop, the car would struggle to accelerate to go forward. Where the shifting gears would start blinking, and the warning lights (engine power reduced, engine light, and the traction safety collision light) would display itself making it misfire and impossible to even go forward while pressing the gas pedal. It put me and other drivers at a safety risk because it would roll backwards after taking my foot off the breaks to accelerate where it would almost hit drivers behind me at the stops as well as them almost mistakingly hitting me in the back when my break lights stop reflecting when trying to accelerate at stop lights with traffic. I have had it diagnosed with the recall codes n20231344o gm # 20v668000 NHTSA # 18v576000 18v358000 but the dealships are saying there aren't any recall for the vehicle. This issues is ongoing.

During a regular drive the check stabiltrack system message popped up on the dash in the middle circle and then the little car with the squiggly lines behind it popped up and the check engine light came on and started blinking. Immediately I noticed lack of steering control, the car's speed was accelerating and decelerating on its own, jerking and stalling also was observed. As of now the car sits in my driveway because I don't trust the safety of it. I literally feared my life was in danger driving it because of the lack of handling and the acceleration shifts that were so random. So I returned home, as I pulled into the yard the vehicle jerked hard while I was attempting turn into the driveway causing me to hit my mailbox and damaged the side fender and front bumper. No one was injured but the car was damaged as stated before and I'm scared to drive it anywhere. The unpredictable behavior displayed in the vehicle puts other drivers at risk as well because I can't control the vehicle properly. So I'm guessing all in all its a malfunction somewhere in the electrical system. I have read about recalls in my type of vehicle involving the esc and it appears to be what is happening with mine. As of now it sits in my driveway I need a remedy and fast because that was my only source of transportation and I'm a single mother of four with a lot to take of and no way to do it.

Low beam headlights randomly turn off while driving at night and day. Causing not to be able to see the roadway at all. Very dangerous!!! they give no warning at all. Only the low beams do this. Bright lights are not affected. There was a recall for this issue but they said my car was not affected. But it is 100% affected by this recall. Ot seems like the headlamp driver module is overheating. It gets extremely hot. This issue almost caused a very serious accident .
My 2012 Buick Lacrosse had a recall for loss control generator control module, the recall was fixed, but recently my car shut off in the middle of the highway for the same issue. The vehicle was towed to the gm Buick dealer and they quoted me $7, 525. 00 for the part because it is an after market part and maybe currently unavailable. This is a safety issue and I could have been hurt. The car has malfunctioned due there recall issue and I feel they should fix the issue as they did before or issue me a newer vehicle. Please help me.
Improperly calibrated stabilitrak esc system. Accelerator pedal position sensors 1-2 5v reference 3 circuit heated oxygen 2 sensor car is losing power and esc light is on along with check engine light.
I’m experiencing issues that seem to align with the gcm recall despite my vehicle supposedly being fixed for this recall prior to my purchase of it. I cannot run the heat with the headlights or various combinations of things that would otherwise be normal because the battery will drain within 30 minutes, resulting in the car to going into “battery saver mode” where each system begins to power off one by one which ends with the car losing speed and just turning off and not turning back on. I’ve been stuck and had to jump it more times than I can possibly count due to it not starting or going in the battery saver mode. I’ve noticed a weird odor that smells like burning wires. I’ve owned this car for 3 years and have had these same problems with it since the day I bought it. I’m at the point now where I don’t even drive it unless absolutely necessary because I’m afraid it will shut down or cause an accident. The power steering is always first to shut down and on various occasions, I almost hit someone or something trying to steer off the road. I chose todays date as the “incident occur” date but this has been an ongoing issue since the purchase.
I got locked in the car and couldn't get out for about 4 minutes. I had the key with me, it wouldn't start or unlock the doors or roll down the windows.

My 2012 Buick Lacrosse died while driving putting me and my children at risk. Vehicle was then jumped but battery voltage kept decreasing. It says service batter charging. Took to mechanic they said all electric components say low voltage then had battery replaced to see if that would fix it but it did not and I was told it would need to go to dealership to have all parts replaced which is 4k+. Did research and it may relate to the electrical recall made on the cars in 2013.
While driving the electronic stability control warning light comes on and the car loses power.
The contact owned a 2013 Buick Lacrosse. The contact stated while driving at an undisclosed speed she noticed a failure with the suspension in which the vehicle front and rear ends of the vehicle were low, and the vehicle would drift in addition the contact noticed a failure with the electrical system in which all of the warning lights would display. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic where it was diagnosed as a failure with the suspension and electrical system which needed to be replaced. The dealer was contacted, and the vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 146,000.

Hello my car is stalling out and the stabilìtrak lights comes on with trak symbol. Car does not crank back up until the next day. . It keeps doing this after several days. Im scared to drive this car with the stalling when driving it. . . Please help me fix this problem.
Intermittent failure to start all electrical components failed to operate after total shutdown while at a stopped traffic light. After being towed to dealer it did start on its own.
Vehicle loses power every GMC vehicle I have owned (3) seen to have this issue throttle pedal position sensor while driving on the interstate vehicle speed drops to reduce engine power which is very scary and dangerous.
#07-06-04-019f: intermittent malfunction indicator lamp (mil} illuminated, otc pl':1. ~j with reduced engine power (repair instrument panel (ip) to body harness connector). Lost power on I-84 and had to cross over the right lane because I had no power, barely missing a rear end collision.

Battery light on no power charging 12v battery from hybdrid.
The contact owns a 2018 Buick Lacrosse. The contact stated that the key fob failed to open the doors and the vehicle was unable to be restarted. The failure had recurred on several occasions. The contact stated that the batteries in the key fob were replaced but the failure persisted. The local dealer was notified of the failure, but no assistance was offered. The manufacturer was not yet contacted. The failure mileage was 100,000.
The car continues to have serious engine issues. I keep getting a service stability track and engine power reduced warning. It has happened to me on the expressway and the car will not accelerate past 20 miles per hour. I had the car repaired on October of last year (3 months ago) and the issue persists. I decided to research online and this seems to be a major issue going on with Buicks. It sounds like gm has done nothing to remedy the malfunction. Many people state that even the dealers can seem to fix the issues and have no clue as to why this happens. This is a serious and life threatening mechanical failure that needs to be addressed.

After restarting the vehicle, the vehicle seemed to return to normal functionality; however, the failure had since become a regular failure. No warning lights were illuminated. The vehicle was not taken to the dealer or an independent mechanic. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was 89,000.

Driveing on hwy at 68 mph sudenly lost power stearing and all power to everything could not use windows or open doors cause could not unlock could not even turn hasard lights on very danerous.
I get reduced engine power and service stabilitrak messages. Engine code p2138 is prevalent. The car will not accelerate, nor maintain highway speeds, forcing the driver to pull off the road and shut off the car. The warning message returns under normal driving conditions. This code points to several components [accelerator pedal position (app) sensor, throttle body assembly with sensor, manifold absolute position (map) sensor, etc. . . ] all of which I have replaced. It is rumored that general motors knows that it is a problem and the true fix is to replace the wire(s) and seal or replace the connector. Refer to gm technical service document 070604019f.
I have brought my 2018 Buick Lacrosse to two different Buick dealerships who say that even though a special instruction letter was recognized and a recall was observed, because my check light went out and the codes on the car where cleared, they will not fix either recall. On three different occasions, the car slowed down to a crawl speed, the check engine light went on and the brakes applied themselves. Also across the dash was displayed 'service transmission'. I thought it was the accelerator pedal position sensor, but it may be a transmission problem. I've had it towed on three different occasions and had the battery replaced. Neither dealership will not fix the problem, however.
1. The driver’s door window motor burnt out causing the window switch to smoke. The fuse never failed. The car was diagnosed at the dealership. It is at the dealership now awaiting the purchase of repair parts. 2. I was told that it was a safety issue by the dealership because the switch could have started a fire. The mechanic had it smoking during the diagnosis. He did not want to put it back together until repaired. 3. The dealer was the one that diagnosed it. 4. The problem was not reported to any other agency. 5. There were no warning signs or messages before the motor failed and the switch burned up. I am also have problems with the radio where it doesn’t now shut off when the drivers side door is opened. It also started when the window motor stopped working. I believe that it all related. I will be calling the dealership back to voice that concern as well. I am very lucky that there wasn’t a fire after I keep trying to get the window to roll down.
So many issues with the Buick. Made of glass. First I had no coolant line and I took it to be inspected before at, baumen Ford and they said everything was fine with it. Turns out needed new coolant line, head gasket, timing cover, and switch. 5 new tires, rebuilt transmission, epc solenoid, transmission lines, rear pivot, left front wheel barring, formed band, and many many more. Currently with everything replaced and more that I haven’t listed/can’t state because don’t know the term. Already has costed me 10k. And still have issues, with the app, code p1125, p2120, p2138, & c0240. Need to inspect these car models from 2003-2009 as they all have similar issues and nothing has been done.

The contact owns a 2012 Buick Lacrosse. The contact stated while driving at various speeds, the vehicle shut off with the stabili-trak warning light illuminated. The vehicle was taken to two separate dealers and the contact was informed that the computer and the wiring harness needed to be replaced. Upon investigation, the contact discovered NHTSA campaign number: 11v40400 (electronic stability control) that he linked to the failure. The vehicle was repaired; however, the failure persisted. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The vehicle was not repaired. The failure mileage was approximately 122,000.
The charging system in my vehicle is no longer working. There's been a recall done for the charging system. It was fixed back in 2013 before long before I bought the vehicle. It's only been nine years since it's been fixed and now it's not working again. I'd like this matter to be looked into as I believe it's faulty at no fault of my own.
The contact owns a 2013 Buick Lacrosse. The contact stated that while her daughter was driving at 55 mph, the vehicle began to lose motive power as the parking assist warning light appeared on the instrument panel. The contact's daughter also stated that the vehicle had lunged forward prior to losing power. Additionally, the power locks had started to lock and unlock independently. The vehicle was initially taken to an independent mechanic where a diagnostic test discovered an electrical failure within the vehicle. The contact then had the vehicle towed to a dealer however, the vehicle was not yet diagnosed. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The vehicle was not repaired. The failure mileage was approximately 151,000.
Taken car to dealership for computer analysis and was told that the issue was caused by p0420cataylic converter needed to be replaced. I had cataylic converter replaced elsewhere and noticed that wasn't the problem. After doing some research I found that ignition switch is the reason my car stalls while driving. There was a product safety recall (14299) ignition key rotation and replaced on 10- 8-20 but I'm having the same problem.
I was driving the Lacrosse in my neighborhood. A few minutes into the trip, I noticed a burning kind of smell. Then I saw smoke coming from the left side under the hood. I pulled over to the side of the road and exited the car to check, but the smoke quickly got worse and became flames. I then called 911. The police and fire department responded, and they were able to extinguish the fire. However, the front part of the car including the hood area and the passenger compartment was completely burned. It was a clear and mild summer day. And the car was travelling at relatively low speed on a local street, nothing unusual until the car suddenly started to smell, smoke, and burn. From the first burning smell to the car fire it took only a few minutes. The fire department investigation report states that the origin of the fire was "left front of the engine compartment behind the left headlight and before the battery", and " the most likely cause was an electrical failure. " I am the original owner of the car. It had been regularly maintained. The car had about 87,750 miles. It had not been involved in any accident.
