Battery Problems of Buick Park Avenue

While driving, "air bag, security, and service vehicle soon" sensor lights come on and stay on - air conditioner quits working, windows won't roll down, and doors don't unlock when car is stopped and put in "park". . . Heads-up display shows "check gauges" warning. . . Gauges readings - battery state????, coolant temp ????, oil pressure ????, oil life index ????. . . Light showing what gear vehicle is in goes out. I've had vehicle to dealer 8 times in past yr. And issued 2 complaints with Buick customer service with no resolution. Checked by 2 dealers - problem going on for over 3 yrs. And getting worse. Dealer has contacted tech support at Buick but they cannot resolve the problem either.

Battery leaked, causing vehicle not to start. The consumer received a recall #03v473000 and believed the recall was the reason why the battery leaked. The consumer requested reimbursement , however the consumer was denied.

The a/c will turn on again after I turn it off. The radio will shift to cassette and back while displaying e33. Drivers window will come down unevenly and get wedged. The alternater went out and the bottom bolt stripped during removal. There is a lurch sometimes during shifting.

When consumer attempted to the apply the brakes, all braking capability had failed, due to battery acid leaking onto the lines. Dealer has been notified.

Consumer stated the battery terminal leaked acid onto the garage floor. The battery had been replaced twice due to a leak. This happened for a second time. The battery was by delco for gm which had side terminals which suddenly leaked. (this acid corroded the motor compartment and leaked onto the garage floor eating the concrete. Prior odi# 8002108.
