1 Brake Antilock Wheel Speed Sensor problem of the 2004 Cadillac CTS

Failure Date: 10/29/2015

When at slow speeds when parking and turning here kind of grinding and car not wanting to stop, generally when pulling into or out of a parking spot, or coming to any slow stop. Always at a low speed. Spoke with dealership service managers who have no knowledge of this problem, although it is documented close to 100 times on this and other web sites: townhall-talk. Edmunds. Com/direct/view/. F0f480a/29 please check these posts since so many others have experienced this problem which (as stated in one of the posts) very well could be a failure in the design or workmanship in some of the wiring harnesses connecting the ebcm to the speed sensors that causes the brakes to fail. When pulling into a parking spot(almost stopped) there is a grinding sound, a vibrating brake peddle and the car doesn't want to stop. This appears to be an intermittent problem that is only happening on right turns and very slow speeds.

2 Brake Antilock Wheel Speed Sensor problem of the 2007 Cadillac CTS

Failure Date: 11/10/2012

Idn7-34821 I could not attach the pdf. November 2012 I was parallel parking and felt like my car slide before stopping. I had approximately 32,000 miles on it. About a week later I turned the wheel to park and again it felt like the car slid on something, the brakes made a noise, pulsated and didn't feel like they were going to stop. A day or so after that I went to park the car and this time the brakes pulsated, made a noise and would not stop. I was heading for a brick wall so I shifted the car into park. Each of these occurrences happened at speeds of approximately 5-10 mph when I went to park the car turning the wheel to the right. I took the car to the Cadillac dealer and they told me they didn't know of any recall, after checking the car they diagnosed it as a front wheel speed sensor electrical failure. They replaced the hub & charged me $725. 70. 3 weeks ago (August 2013) I went to park my car and started to feel the same pulsing of the brakes and sliding of the vehicle. A day later I was pulling into a parking space with my daughter & the car slid and the brakes pulsated my daughter immediately asked what happened she felt it too. On 9/6/13 I took my car with 35,630 miles on it to a different Cadillac dealer they diagnosed it with several codes & replaced the electronic brake control module charging me $1,434. 87. I picked the car up on 9/9/13 on 9/10/13 the same exact problem happened again. I emailed Cadillac customer assistance 9/10/13 abigail called me on 9/11/13 & said they would contact me when to take it back to the dealer. I drove the car 1 more time and the same thing happened pulling into my garage. 9/16/13 gerald called to see if the problem was fixed I told him I was still waiting to hear from someone to bring it in to be repaired again, he said the customer care specialist would call me within 24 hours & I have heard nothing.
