My car is a 2014 Cts vsport. I have owned the vehicle since August of 2017, and it had 42,563 miles when I purchased the vehicle. I have had tire issues with the car since day 1. The 1st week I owned the vehicle, the tires had to be replaced, although they had just been replaced prior to my purchase, the car was making very loud noise while driving and it was determined they had uneven wear. along with this, the rear axle system off light would occasionally come on. Nothing the dealer could find with it and it always seemed the light would turn off when it was at dealership. Now 2 additional sets of tires, and the rear axle system off light not turning off, I was told rear axle pieces need to be replaced to include the rear axle pins and pump, costing 2700. 00. Along with this repair the car will need to have tires realigned due to uneven wear and rear brakes. The dealer stated they cannot replace the rear axle under the recall because the recall is incomplete with no solution. in addition, they told me my car is unsafe to drive due to risk of the rear tires locking up while driving the vehicle.

The contact owns a 2012 Cadillac Cts. While driving approximately 60 mph, a loud noise emitted outside of the vehicle. The front passenger side tire and lower control arm detached completely. In addition, the brakes, rotors, and other suspension support detached onto the road. The vehicle crashed into a concrete barrier. The driver sustained a lower back injury. The front seat occupant suffered from a bump to the head. The injuries required medical attention. A police report was filed. The vehicle was towed to the contact's residence. The manufacturer was not notified of the issue. The failure mileage was unavailalbe.

Hi ever since I purchased the car when driving at very slow speeds and turning the vehicle the brakes lock up and stop working. When pulling into and out of parking spots or driveways the car makes a loud noise and shakes a little like if the brakes are trying to work but dont. This only has happened about 2-3 times per year since I had the car and since then had many parts replaced but it always seems to come back. I did searches on the computer and found many others with the same problem and read that one dealer replaced a wiring harness and solved the problem where most dealerships have no idea how to fix this issue and many people just replacing parts after part with the same issue coming back. This to me is a very important safety issue since during those times you can not stop the car and and is not a safe situation. I also seen people making reports to this website and figured I would do the same since it needs to be addressed and its many people with the same issue. Thank you for your time.
