My car has moments where I have to slam hard on the. Rakes for it to stop. I thought it was my brakes but I had them changed and it still does it and flashes a sign that says no traction control. Also my left turn signal does not work on the inside as if there's a mechanical glitch. And I have a service aitbag code constantly.

2012 Cadillac Cts wagon: rear stop, turn signal, back-up, brake lights are coming away from body of vehicle. The tabs under the top have broken off and lights do not fit the body of vehicle as designed. The lights work as designed, photos attached of complaint. It appears that the plastic these lights were manufactured from is defective and lights could be changing shape and distorting under temperature changes, the holding tabs under the lights must weaken and eventually break off. Have been told by dealer this is normal? wow! upon search of www and Cadillac forums found that these rear lights were defective and I read where they have been replaced by dealers under original btb warranty (if the owners complained hard enough). I am now the third owner and warranty has expired. Here is the kick in the groin: gm/Cadillac in oct 2012 remanufactured these lights from a higher quality plastic to resolve the bad manufacturing-poor quality plastic used previously. I believe this to be a serious safety issue for both driver, passenger and the general public. A car wash will eventually destroy and or remove these lights for me. Or if hand washing vehicle I could cut an arm or finger. I also believe that there were insufficient of these vehicles manufactured/built and therefore the dealers and gm/Cadillac don't feel the need for further action or assistance to current owners out of warranty. What ever happened to safety issues here? I could epoxy/glue these lights to stay in place and make the removal of them impossible for future service, possibly doing additional damage to the vehicle, or I can purchase new oem replacements! as long as the replacement lights are manufactured after oct 2012. Thank you for reading my complaint.

I was travelling approximately 65 mph at around 7pm when a dump truck suddenly moved into my lane. I had to immediately slam on the brakes. Simultaneously, I sounded my horn and flicked my high beams multiple times at which point all of my outside lights went off. I was completely in the dark, travelling in excess of 55 mph, with no street lights and no car lights. I slowed as quickly as I could and pulled over to the side of the road. I turned the car off and then restarted. Once the car restarted, the lights came back on and functioned normally. I experienced this a second time on the night of November 18, 2014 once more around 7pm. I was attempting to pass a slower vehicle. I shifted my Cts into sport transmission mode in order to downshift to pass. At the same time, I put my signal on to indicate I was moving my car to the left to pass. I passed the vehicle, put my signal on to indicate I was moving to the right, and all of my exterior lights went out. Unlike the first time this occurred, I was not engaging any controls for my lights or horn. I was simply passing and using my turn signal. Once more, I was moving in excess of 55 mph with no lights on a rural road. Fortunately, I was familiar with this road, so I was able to find a safe place to pull over, shut the vehicle off, and restart. Just like the October 2014 occurrence, when the vehicle restarted, the lights returned to normal functioning.
