Smelled gasoline strong in cabin and in engine compartment. No visible signs of gas until took off top cover. Found fuel rail leaking and squirting raw gasoline onto hot engine from the plastic fuel line between injectors. Quite fortunate that no fire or explosion occured. Saw recall on this site for fuel rail regarding 97 cad Deville but dealership refused to fix saying not on recall. . . But it is at NHTSA site. This needs to be included in the recall of any other models with this fuel rail system. This is a very dangerous situation with pressurized gasoline being blown right on engine!! we are concerned that others might have this same problem and it could result in an explosion or fire.
