Wiper Problems of Cadillac Deville

As I was pulling off from a stop sign, passenger and driver airbags deployed unexpectedly with no reason causing the front windshield to shatter and leaving the steering wheel busted open along side passenger dash. Also leaving me with burns, scratches on my chin and small shards of glass in my face and forearms.

Takata recall: driver's side rear view mirror lost it's reflection. The mirror started turning a dark brownish color then started losing its reflection from the top of the mirror to the bottom. There is no visibility at all in the mirror.

The contact owns a 2004 Cadillac Deville. The contact stated that both rear windows have malfunctioned. The contact mentioned that the windows dropped down into the door and could not be raised. Window regulators are faulty. When they break the window glass falls to the bottom of the door panel. This has happened twice and is a safety hazard at highway speeds especially in inclement weather. An internet search reveals this is a common problem with Cadillac.

Window regulators have broken. All (every) (all 4) window regulators have broken without warning and required premature replacement. This was a hazard since security in bad neighborhoods was compromised multiple times, also was unable to keep criminals and rain out of car on multiple occasions causing damage to interior.

The contact owns a 2003 Cadillac Deville. The contact stated that while driving, the front driver side window came down on its own. The vehicle was taken to the dealer for inspection and they stated that the regulator needed to be replaced. The vehicle was repaired but the failure recurred several times with the other windows. The manufacturer was notified but did not offer any assistance since the vehicle was not included on any recalls. The failure mileage was 40,000.

When I got the car the car wasn't painted good at all and the ignition coil was bad.

The driver side mirror changes position, pointing down to the ground, erratically, usually when entering or leaving the car, or inserting the key, even though I am always using driver #1 key. I can reset it, use the memory button to save the position. It may work for several stops during a shopping trip, then change again on it's own. It is a safety hazard because when I want to change lanes I look at the mirror and it is pointed to the ground. The dealer where I always take my car for service, has not been able to determine the problem.
