Upon research from a shop mechanic he said that it was common for those 6. 2 motors for the cam bearings to go bad causing no oil to reach the top of the motor and could cause engine failure and motor to come apart and kill someone.
Faulty bearings on camshaft failing causing inadequate oil pressure resulting in "limp mode", subsequently leading to engine failure and illumination of stabilitrak, abs and parking assist icons. "limp mode" cuts engine off and driver loses ability to control the vehicle, 1 fatality and 3 injuries have resulted because of this.
