Vehicle: 2023 Cadillac Escalade purchased in oct 2022. At the time of new vehicle delivery the dealer in atlanta peachtree blvd, informs the reverse camera is not working completely - has issues - 1. ) missing gridlines 2. ) blue hour glass reducing the visibility while reversing the vehicle. Dealer states this is gm Cadillac issue and they cannot solve it. 3. ) there is an irritating vibration sound while driving this 2023 Escalade above 70 mph ( like a flag on top of vehicle). The dealer in atlanta, peachtree blvd cannot fix the problem even after 4 service center visits, and keeping the vehicle for more than 10 days . It is now almost 8 months since the new 2023 Escalade was purchased. Called up gm Cadillac customer support many times on 800 333 4223 since one month and registered the complaint case and even gm Cadillac does not know and does not have a clue on how to provide any solution. The customer support provided by gm Cadillac customer support team is pathetic. No response to customer complaints !!!!! the gm Cadillac customer support team is not qualified to deal with customer issues / pain. It is pathetic to have companies like gm Cadillac to ignore problems with their premium vehicle like Escalade. I do not see any other solution, hence reporting the issue with NHTSA. Manufacturers like gm Cadillac should not sell vehicles with known issues, without informing customers.

No grid lines on back up camera or forward camera views. The grid line option is grayed out and unavailable. A hourglass icon appears constantly as indicating an issue. This makes reversing into parking spaces very difficult.

Frame rotted where the control arm conects to the frame causing the control arm to break away from the frome. I lost steering fortunetly iwas coming to a stop. The dealer colonial Cadillac woburn MA. Confirmed the damage. It was inspected by a tecnition at the dealership. No there was no warning, I bought an etended warenty when the origanel one ran out. Ty are not covering this? there resaning the say is because of rust. A 5 year old car should not rot out this bad.

5/19/2021, engine vibrating, vehicle stall, 3 days repair. Ignition wiring bad/ replaced 5/28/2021, engine vibrating, vehicle stop running, 3 day repair/electric module burn/temporary repair by georgia car dealer. 6/3/2021 taken to NY dealer to repair 5/28/2021 problems, 15 day to repair. 10/12/2021 engine vibrating, passenger compartment filled with smoke, valve lifter crack, vehicle parked on dealers parking lot for 15 day, has not been repair. Vehicle has spent 35 total days in car dealers for different engine problems. On all occasions dashboard has gong haywire. Emergency brake lock, passenger door would not open 10/12/2021. Contacted GMC has not responded.

The contact owns a 2005 Cadillac Escalade. The contact stated while driving 62 mph, he heard an abnormal sound coming from the sunroof. The contact stated while attempting to exit the highway, the sunroof detached from the vehicle and hit the road. The contact drove to nearby auto glass repair shop. The vehicle was not repaired. The contact drove another vehicle to the local dealer and was informed that the sunroof was not the original equipment but was an aftermarket sunroof. Upon investigation, the contact associated the failure with NHTSA campaign number: 10v427000 (equipment). The vehicle was not repaired. The contact attempted to speak with a representative from webasto product north America, inc. Manufacturer but was not successful. The failure mileage was approximately 235,000.

Cadillac cue system has stopped working. Gm will not replace but is aware of the issues with the faulty system. Screen has been checked by the dealership. They indicate that they are aware of the issues with the system but no recall has been issued. Because this controls many functions of the vehicle, it's safety issue. Consumers should not have to pay the costs to have this issue resolved.

The top of the dash cover cracked. There was no reason, it just cracked.

Running boards go up and down when the door is open. Both my wife and nine year old daughter almost had their legs caught when stepping out of the vehicle. This is dangerous and the manufacturer claims no responsibility. Very dangerous safety concern.

Service driver assist system alert while driving dealer is consulting with Cadillac engineering, but can't figure how to fix, because no code appears - even thought the warning still appears.

My 2016 black Cadillac Escalade has a paint defect on the hood and roof where the clear coat is/has deteriorated much faster then the rest of the body; in fact the body paint is still shiny and as far as I know there is a 5 year manufacture warranty on the paint. It is a known issue with gm on 2016 black vehicles that this is occurring. I contacted my local Cadillac dealer in which I have all my service done through and I was told that more than likely I will have to pay a part of the repair, which it not right being that we pay to drive a quality vehicle and is only 4 years old. Unexceptable!!!.

Just checked VIN # and said 0 unrepaired recalls. Does this mean they meed to be fix or that my vehicle isnt affected and is it is affceted where or what can I do about it.

While driving the blind spot indicator fails intermittently.

I developed an a/c leak from my condensor. GMC, chevy and Cadillac are very aware of how common this problem is and there is no recall.

My vehicle stops running when I am placing it in reverse or making slow turns. The car turns off and the driver assist screen turns off (cameras do not work) and then my car says �service: driver assist�. I have been driving at a low rate of speed on the street and my car stops running and the steering wheel becomes very tight and hard to turn. When I am backing into a parking space, my steering wheel is hard to turn and the car shuts off and the screen that shows my cameras goes out and then the car comes back on. It is very scary. I am very afraid that the car will stop running while in motion again and cause an accident. I have contacted onstar about this and requested roadside assistance, it was the weekend and they would not send them. The car turning off has occurred more than 7 times in the past month. It started in April 2020.

The rear lift door access unlocks on it's own frequently. The whole rear door lifted open while I was driving.

Some body take my truck like a robery. Im have a police report bit they don't find it.

I had a problem with my vehicle having a horrible vibration at certain speeds and my Cadillac giving my so many problems too. I’ve had my vehicle at the gm dealer so many times to try and fix these issues. I’ve had multiple things fixed on my Cadillac to stop this vibration but nothing has worked! they can’t get the vibration fixed and causes my car to need balanced a lot! fr what I read Cadillac is aware of this issue but has chosen not to take responsibility for it. They call it the chevy shake or death wobble. They’ve put two different motors in the gm vehicles and they are junk. Plus my car hesitates when you put it drive and the check engine light comes every once in awhile. It’s terrible to drive this at certain speeds with the vibration. I also had other issues with my vehicle including the Cadillac cue and my back door handle breaking off. The recently replaced my Cadillac cue with the same one but all the Cadillac cues are junk. They freeze all the time and can’t use it. I have all my my paper work from the dealerships it’s been at and everything they have replaced. I don’t understand why Cadillac isn’t taking responsibility for these issues. It’s been so frustrating not being able to drive my car when it sits at the dealership for weeks at a time. Yes, I’ve had two open claims in this case and have two lawyers involved. I would prefer to fax all my paperwork since I have so much to upload.

While the vehicle was still under warranty (within a few months of our initial purchase) we contacted the Escalade dealership in dublin, CA informing them that our Escalade would stall upon acceleration going forward or reverse causing it to jolt (kickback) once it accelerated. The dealership inspected it and said no problem was found. We brought it back multiple times to hear no problem found. Through the life of this vehicle it continues to happen but now more vigorously.

Transmission is slipping . . Corpus christi texas.

At a stoplight on an overpass the car shut off and wouldn't restart for 10 minutes. After it restarted and we continued to drive and get on the highway. The car shutoff while driving 60 mph on the highway. Power steering was completely lost. We were able to coast to the side of the highway. After 5 minutes or so car restarted. There was a Cadillac dealer within 10 miles so we continued on to try and get there. The car shutoff again getting off the highway on the exit ramp and again lost power steering. Again waited for 5 minutes the car restarted. Same thing happened pulling into the dealer parking lot. We were lucky there wasn't much traffic on the highway or I would imagine we could have very likely caused a bad accident with the car shutting off at 60 mph with no steering. We were in a rural area where the highway death toll is high. I have read numerous cases of other Escalade owners having this same problem.

We bought this car a month ago and already began with problems. It has 50k miles. There is a strange cluck coming from the transmission are while driving and gets worse when gears down. Also the recycle air system does not work. Bad smells come from the outside.

While all electronic safety features were engaged, vehicle failed to slow down properly, even with last minute hard breaking by driver, vehicle crashed and rear ended another vehicle. Dashcam footage available upon request.

While stationary the hatchback will auto close randomly while a person is loading or unloading and does not stop or sense a person is there. It occurs at least once a month. It happens whether you have the fob on your body and when it's not. The hatchback will without warning begin to close while your head or body parts are in the way.

Every time that I axelarate, there's a funny noise that I'm hearing from the bottom of the vehicle that battered my ears and the noise kept on going louder as I axelarate. Even more noise on the highways.

I purchased a 2015 Cadillac Escalade on 9/6/2019 from mcgovern Hyundai in brockton, massachusetts. The vehicle was being sold and on display and was transported from the mcgovern Buick GMC dealership in mansfield, massachusetts. The vehicle identification number or VIN number is 1gys4rkj9fr679076. Since I bought the vehicle, I have had to return it to the dealership a total of 3 times within 7 days, 8 times within 30 days and 10 times within 45 days. The most recent was on 11/4/2019 of which the dealership ignored my continuous appeals to fix the engine noise(s) and asked that I contact mastria in raynham massachusetts and deal with them because the car was there for repair and have them deal with my concerns. My vehicle has been out of service for repairs for a total of 14 days. Initially, when I requested mc govern Hyundai that it be repaired, I was told by the service department that the part and/or parts were in back order and that the uaw was on strike. I have had to drive from fall river to brockton for all of these issues. Keeping in mind that mcgovern dealership in mansfield is a Buick GMC dealer, I had initially been in contact with the salesperson, tom, and on 9/10/2019, 9/11/2019 and 9/12/2019, I drove to the Hyundai dealership after work for him to witness the issues including the issue with the engine getting progressively worse. I notified the Hyundai service department about the issues that I was having and that the applique on the driver's passenger side was loose or broken. She stated that the uaw was on strike and that she would take care of it. To date applique has not been fixed. I have contacted them numerous times and they tell me to contact mastria GMC in raynham MA.

After a complete stop I turned left into a store parking lot. Driving foward to find a parking spot and the truck shut off without warning and rolled to a stop no warning lights were on and the push start light was still lit up green I put it into park and pushed the start engine button and it started right away .

Door handle for all doors break off with or without an motor vehicle collision. Self-extracation from vehicle is unlikely without repair.

I purchased this vehicle from 4 aces automotive in lithonia. They bought the car at an auction on may 27th 2019 with 230,000 miles on it and then miraculously on may 30th 2019 the car pass emissions with only 98000 miles on it. They are tampering with the odometers and selling cars by sneaking in an odometer discrepancy form while you are signing the paperwork without mentioning it or disclosing any information regarding the mileage being wrong. They told me I could call the president the united states for all they care because they make more money suing people than they do selling cars. They stated that their contracts are bulletproof and therefore I will not win a case against them. I am reporting them for fraud this is a felony in all states you cannot tamper with odometers. They are stating that I will not get a refund for the half deposit I put down even though they lied about the odometer, I have already spoken with my bank and the police and they stated that this is illegal and that I need to report him to every agency I can to try and prevent other people from having to go through what I'm going through right now. I have included the carfax that shows the mileage on the 27th of may being 230,000 miles and then after they purchased the vehicle it shows that the emissions was done on may 30th and the car only had 98000 miles on it.

06/14/2019 I was driving my Cadillac to escalate esv traveling from baltimore to washington DC 95 south band. 12:04 pm my vehicle flip over. I almost lost my life. After the accident, I inspected the vehicle. I found that left the rear wheel of the car; come out of the vehicle. Wheel locks and axle bar of the tire cut off and broken. This caused flipping of the vehicle.

I have had onstar for many years because of their advertisements concerning accidents that involve going off the road and not being found for days. I was traveling on I-81 and went into a ravine hit multiple trees and according to several witnesses flipped multiple times. All airbags deployed before this happened . My onstar did not activate. Fortunately as I stated there were witnesses that called 911 and located my vehicle not onstar . When I called to cancel my subscription they wanted to know why since they had no idea that my vehicle was demolished beyond recognition. Jaws of life was brought in to extract me and if not for the bad weather life lion to get me to hershey trauma center . I believe this should be looked into as I paid for this service and the outcome could have been fatal. Thank you for checking into this as I would not want this to happen to anyone else!.

I've had this vehicle since 3-28-2019 and I'm already having shifting problems with the vehicle. After doing some research, I've discovered that this is a common issue with Cadillac. My Escalade has 45,000 miles on it, so this shouldn't be a problem. I'm worried about this hesitation problem during driving, which may led to a potential accident or worse.
