The cue system (controls radio, navigation, weather alerts, climate controls and vehicle settings) is non responsive. I cannot access the systems to make specific adjustments to climate control settings (directing the heat or air to the feet or chest area) program new radio stations, add a new cell phone for hands free operations, input vehicle navigation destinations or make setting changes to the vehicle operation. This is hazardous as I rely on the vehicle navigation to find locations in out of town locations, weather and road alert information and hands free cell phone operation to receive calls. I have reset the system according to the instructions in the owners manual but it does not restore the touch screen functions. This is a defect in the design of the system and gm was aware of it as early as 2014-2015. The dealership wants more than $2000. 00 to replace the whole unit with an identical one that has the same defect. There needs to be a recall issued on all of these Cadillacs.
