2012 Cadillac Srx was traveling approximately 30mph and t-boned another vehicle at an intersection. Both vehicles were totaled. The airbags in the Cadillac did not deploy and the seatbelt did not lock, causing the driver to be thrust forward into the steering wheel and windshield. Significant head injury. The safety of everyone was at risk, this car was not even road-worthy from the moment it left the floor.

A deer hit the driver side of my car. The air bag had a smell but did not deflate. The seatbelts kinda detached from the driver’s seat and both front seatbelts are locked very tight. This happened 1/3/25. About three months ago while driving, the driver seat went into the lowest level position. When I put it back where I could drive it, it did it again. I had to keep putting it in place till I got home. It hasn’t done that again yet. Please send me any recalls so I can get them fixed. Thank you.

The automatic trunk does not work. I'm unable to open and/or use my trunk. Moon roof does not open airbag light is on vehicle jerks very hard while operating in drive.

I was in an accident 2 weeks ago where 0 airbags were deployed. I swerved to miss an elk, traveling about 55-60 mph, tapped it on the passenger front side and made me spin out and collide with a rock wall on the driver side. The whole front driver side was affected and driver door couldn’t be opened. 0 airbags deployed, message displayed “service airbags”. No message was ever displayed prior to accident. Car was deemed total loss by progressive. There is a police report and car is in progressive’s possession.

I bought this as a certified used vehicle. On 1/21/2023 I had a wreck and based on my vehicle, injuries, and photos I strongly believe the airbags should have deployed. I specifically bought this vehicle due to the safety and airbag components. I am reporting this incident because I would not want anyone to be injured or any children in the event that this is something that needs to be looked into. I appreciate your website and how it breaks down the safety of vehicles and for this reason I feel it is important to report this issue. (it was a total loss, I sought medical attention, the vehicle was towed, however the photos are what blew my mind when I went to retrieve my items. I do not understand how airbags did not deploy).

I was in an accident on 8/19/22. I was completely stopped when struck head on by a ram truck with a ranch-hand bumper. The hit totaled my car, bending the frame and pushing the left front of the vehicle up against the firewall and driving my vehicle sideways. However, the airbag did not deploy. The car is now in possession of texas farm bureau insurance. My head struck the driver's-side window, and I suffered a head injury, whiplash which resulted in a concussion, and neck and back injuries. There were no warning lamps, messages, or other symptoms of the problem prior to the accident.

Immediately upon picking my 2011 Cadillac Srx up from don thornton Cadillac for recall on the rear toe link, I had more problems with my car than when I dropped it off. I immediately called and let them know my car would not accelerate,I still had something wrong with my battery, I had warning lights on my display that were safety issues,such as service airbag,seatbelt,service stabilitrak,service rear axle,service traction control,service park assist,service suspension,"battery saver mode",service brakesthey told me it would cost me $50 to have it towed,whatever the cost for them to diagnose,the cost to fix whatever was wrong. The general manager told me that the problems with my car when I brought it in:(issues related to the rear toe link recall)ie:service stabilitrak,service traction control, service rear axle,swaying in the back. Something was wrong with my battery and powersteering. I took it to another gm certified dealer, and"the ground was burnt and melted the rear fuse box,the ground to the fuse box was fried. " the "pre-invoice" I received when picking my car up from don thornton Cadillac said "performed wire repair to ground wire". I paid $1,178. 24 for faulty repairs. After finding out that the work they performed, was not fixed at all, the right rear wheel hub was loose, the melted wires going from the back up to the front wires, I am now without a car. Completely. Don thornton Cadillac is not taking responsibility what so ever for the problems, safety issues, that I had when I picked up my car,and certainly did not have when I dropped it off. Please help!I do not know what to do. I am now without a car. It was by the grace of god,that I actually wasn't able to drive my car. I could have had my 3 grandchildren,or my 2 elderly aunts(81&76)that I am responsible to take them to their doctors appointments,or son in the car if something tragic could have happened by the right rear wheel hub coming off while driving and they were in the car!.

My car drove in to concreate barrier and was struck from back by another car. Air bag in my car did not deploy. My head hit steering wheel. I have broken nose. I will need surgery.

Units one, two, and three were traveling on I-90 w/b. At approximately milepost 62. 0 unit one traveling in lane #3 (lane #3, being the third lane from the median wall) lost control, spun, and struck the rear driver quarter panel of unit two traveling in lane #3. The impact forced forward unit two into the rear of unit three traveling in lane #1. Then unit two spun, drove off the roadway onto the right shoulder and struck the concrete barrier. The drivers had no recollections referencing the accident. My car was nr. 2 in police report. I hit concrete barrier and my airbags didn't deploy. Car is a total loss. Not repairable. My head landed on steering will. I have fractures nasal bone and my cartilage was moved. I will need have a surgery. Other injury are lower back , knee and chest. Airbags light turned on, my seatbelts just stopped working and are tight, my radio screen just went blank. I can’t drive the vehicle because of no proper working seatbelts. If I was to wreck there is nothing to prevent me the driving or my front passenger from being ejected. Ive taken my vehicle to my dealership that confirmed the airbag sensor says they have been suddenly deployed the dealer also confirmed my vehicle has never been in a accident and ive only had the vehicle since April 19 2021 the problems occured July 5 2021 and they advised me they have heard of airbags popping out of nowhere. It has not been inspected by police or the manufacturer. The seatbelts locked the radio went blank then my airbag light appeared suddenly. I asked the dealership im financing the vehicle from if they could provide me a safe vehicle until they resolve they issue because I do have toddlers and I was told no it wasnt a option I also asked if they could just exchange the vehicle for another around the same value and was also told no. I was most concerned that they allowed me to drive the vehicle off the lot after explaining to me the dangers that could occur while im on the road.

I was involved in a severe front end collision. I was in motion traveling at a fairly high rate of speed on the interstate. I rear ended a truck after someone stopped suddenly in front of the truch. None of the vehicle's air bags deployed. The front end of the car was severely damaged. I flew into the dashboard and steering wheel and since there were no airbags hit my arms, chest, and knee. I am severely bruised and my arm and wrist may have damage.

Tl- the contact own a 2012 Cadillac Srx. The contact daughter was driving 65 mph highway while raining the vehicle hydroplain which caused the contact daughter to lose control of the vehicle. And crashed into medium in the road where another vehicle hit the contact daughter vehicle in the rear. The contact stated no front and rear air bags diployed in the vehicle mo mediicial attention at scene of the failure the contact daughter did go to the hospital two days after the failure. A police report was filed. The vehicle was towed to an independent mechanic where then the contact insurance had it towed to diagonosed the vehicle as a totaled loss. Now the contact just receieve a recall notification from the vehicle manufacturer in reference to rear suspension toe adjuster link being loose and now the contact feel that was the caused to the failure of the vehicle at the time his daughter was driving. The failure mileage was. 153014 vw.

When it rains water leaks from the top of the vehicle and leaks inside the car through a plastic piece that says air bag and in the rear water leaks in and fills up where the jack is located and I'm afraid that the airbag will not work properly with the water leaking into it when it rains or I go through the car wash. Also the rear axle mount is broke and it cause the vehicle to make a lot of noise and I'm hoping the rear end doesn't come off while I'm driving because it will definitely cause a wreck.

I just bought this vehicle two days ago and now realized it loses power while driving (in-motion) and then jumps as if it wants to cut off. At the time, I was driving on a city street and as I tried to accelerate, the problem occurred. This is very dangerous and scary because it can cause a crash or cause other cars to rear-end it. Tl the contact owned a 2005 Cadillac Srx. While driving approximately 45 mph, a second vehicle crashed into the passenger side of the contact's vehicle. The contact lost control of the steering and crashed head on into an oncoming semi truck. The contact's vehicle was destroyed and the front end was severely damaged; however, the air bags did not immediately deploy. The contact indicated that the air bag deployed moments after the collision occurred. The driver sustained facial lacerations and contusions along with contusions and abrasions to the arms, legs, and torso. A police report was filed and the vehicle was towed away. The cause of the failure was not determined. The local dealer and manufacturer were not notified of the failure. The VIN was not available. The failure mileage was 152,000.

I was the owner/operator of the Srx was t-boned on the passenger side, air bag triggered error message and did not deploy, seatbelt did not lock in place until after I hit the dash resulting in unharnessed contact in cabin causing over $200k in medical bills to date to right shoulder, head, neck and back.

Srx was t-boned and airbags/seatbelt retractor failed. Severe injuries to Cadillac driver from unlocked shoulder harness and all airbags failed.

My service air bag and moisture in my right headlight the assembly is out due to the moisture in the headlight assembly. Causing me not able to see at night the cost is $1600+ tax. Who has that type of money like that. Cadillac need to have a recall on that and the seat belt.

I was in a car accident along with two other passengers and none of the air bags deployed.

While driving down the street just after exiting the freeway both side and driver airbags deployed and abruptly shut car off impacting my ability to steer and brake. No crash no accident no exterior damage.
