The contact owns a 2010 Cadillac Srx. The contact stated that while driving 65 mph, the lights on the instrument panel suddenly turned off. The contact could not see the fuel gauge, speedometer or the tachometer. The contact pulled over, turned off the vehicle and restarted it; the lights turned back on after the restart. The vehicle was taken to an authorized dealer for diagnosis. The failure mileage was 16,000.

The contact had taken the vehicle back to the dealer three times and they were unable to correct the failure. The contact stated that while driving at night when the instrument panel was no longer illuminated, he was unable to see the speed that he was driving. The failure mileage was 1,400.
