1 Service Engine Light On problem of the 2010 Cadillac SRX

Failure Date: 11/30/2018

At 96,126, the service engine light came on. Took to Cadillac dealer and was told that code p0017 came up and that the timing chain needed to be replaced. Had the timing chain replaced. At 122,962, the service engine light came on. Took back to same Cadillac dealer and was told the code p0017 came up again and that the timing chain would have to be replaced once again after only 26,836 miles on the first replaced timing chain.
