Four problems related to side/rear glass have been reported for the 1996 Chevrolet Blazer. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
As consumer closed tailgate window shattered, no injuries.
Rear glass window will not seal. Dealer service department wrote up ticket as glass being bent due to placement of hinges. Allows exhaust fumes and rain water into the interior and into electrical switches on tailgate.
Tinted rear window is very difficult to see through while backing up at night, small collisions due to design and poor visibility.
The rear windows are too dark, reducing vision of driver to indentify any following vehicles.
