Two problems related to axle assembly have been reported for the 2000 Chevrolet Blazer. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Front axle has a continuous leak. Was resealed on one occaison and entire front axle replaced on another. Still continues to leak fluid.
This condition raises the rear center of gravity of the 4 wheel drive Blazer and increases roll-over potential. I suspect the wrong axle was installed, probably one designed for a 2 wheel drive Blazer. It would not be the first time gm has made parts substitutions in order to keep the assembly lines running.
