On 10/29/25 I brought the vehicle in to richard lucas Chevrolet due to the alert from my insurance CO that there was a recall with parking brake system. The dealership checked the car and told me they had to order the part that was needed due to the recall. Prior I also made the dealer aware that the car had recently stalled on me in the middle of the street, I was told by the dealership that this was apart of the recall! the dealership allowed me to drive the car and stated to me that they would call me when the part comes in! 2 days later on 11/1/25 while driving the car lost control, the brakes wouldn't stop and I crashed into 2 parked cars and landed on top of the second parked car which was a pickup truck! all of the airbags deployed and my body is pretty messed up from this horrific crash and this has caused fear in me of driving!.

The contact owns a 2020 Chevrolet blazar. The contact stated that while driving at approximately 65 mph when a semi-truck crashed into the rear of the vehicle on the driver's side of the vehicle. The vehicle began to spin causing it to go into the lane the semi-truck was in getting hit on the driver side of the vehicle several times. The vehicle ended up crashing into the medium and coming to a stop. The air bags did not deploy. The contact received neck injuries, spinal injuries, headaches, consistent ringing of the ears, shoulder injuries, and hip injuries. Medical attention was needed. A police report was filed. The vehicle was towed and taken to the dealer who repaired the driver's side doors, tires, rims, and other parts of the body of the vehicle that the contact was unable to identify. The air bag failure was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure and opened a case. The failure mileage was approximately 72,000.
While driving the vehicle, an airbag alert goes off recommending service. It does not matter what speed I'm driving, or necessarily the weather. But it does tend to go off more frequently if it's hot or cold out. I have brought the vehicle in for service, but they can't seem to figure it out. Also, while driving, an adaptive cruise alert goes off at times. I have serviced the vehicle at least three times for this. It is happening less, but still happening.
I was driving home on a country road on the evening of January 21st. This is a non-lit, tar and chip with a soft shoulder road. I hit some black ice and the car swerved right, left and I got it straight again. During the swerve, both right and left air bags went off. I did not hit anything and the car never left the road. I made a case with gm. They dropped the case because they said the vehicle nearly rolled over. I told her that I am appealing the case because I was never given any written documentation and if that is the reason they dropped the case, the report has false information. The vehicle never nearly rolled over. I am getting no cooperation with gm. My brand new vehicle is sitting in a body shop waiting on airbags that are back ordered. How can a brand new vehicle have parts on back order already? my insurance is paying the 11,000. 00 repair and then will most likely drop us. I am begging for someone to help. Every lawyer I have spoken to will not take the case because there were no injuries and no one want to take on a monster company like general motors.

"takata recall" vehicle acted like it wanted to only go right and I couldn't turn left and ended up hitting the guardrail on the right side of the road and almost totalled the vehicle. Didn't know about any recall so I went to junkyard to get whole front end, fenders, hood and pretty much every thing on front of vehicle except for motor. But did replace fan on motor. Cost in parts only was approx. $700. 00 (have receipts). Not including labor! & time and cost spent not having a vehicle until fixed. Also no airbags deployed!.

I was notified a while back about defective air bags in 2005 chevy trailblazers and I would be contacted on what procedures to take in order of correcting air bag. No one ever contacted me, giving me instructions on where to take my trailblazer airbag to have it corrected. Did I receive the notification in error? the date above (incident date) is not correct,. . Complaint could not be submitted without entering a date.

The truck slid on a patch of ice 100 yards after merging onto the inner state. This resulted in the consumer losing control of the truck. None of the air bags deployed upon impact. The driver sustained severe injuries to their neck, back, and left shoulder.
