Spare tire restraint failed to remain locked while driving over bumps or holes. Arm would swing open and out into incoming traffic with tire still attached, also the vehicle fishtails at very low speeds while driving in snowy weather.

Spare tire carrier located on the back of vehicle causes poor visibility when using rearview mirror. Dealer/manufacturer notified, and informed consumer that nothing could be done, vehicle meets specifications.
