When pressing brakes brake pedal violently kicked back towards the driver. Please provide any further information.
The vehicle has experienced multiple brake failures, several repairs completed however the brakes failed resulting in the driver hitting the vehicle in front, the brake system is not designed sufficiently for the weight of the vehicle.
The front brake pads and rear shoes have failed on several occasions, causing damage to drums and rotors, possible problem with the brake system to cause excessive wear. Nlm.
The vehicle was weighed with a medium sized vehicle in tow and the weight was 12140, as per gm the trucks max gvw rating is 11,000, the vehicle was being used overweight of specs which caused premature brake wear, the vehicle was sold to the consumer with the understanding that the vehicle would be used as a tow truck, the consumer believes that gm is selling trucks with wrecker provisions but are too light to be tow trucks or they are selling trucks with defective brake systems, on one occasion the vehicle brake pedal went to the floor while the driver was braking and failed causing the truck to rear end another vehicle. Nlm.
11-8-98 incident, dealer still unable to determine cause for brake failure. Dealer drove truck around building to shop, had brakes. Dealer drove truck into shop for repair and had no brakes. Sameday, same hour.

The defective braking system malfunctioned, causing a noise when braking and extended stopping distance, which almost caused an accident. Been to dlr 4 times. Dealer cannot determine problem.
When stepping on the brake pedal to stop, brakes failed twice, once resulting in a collision. The brake pedal felt soft and went to the floor. Also, brake fluid leaked out of the truck. Has had the brakes repaired twice.
While driving and applying the brakes vehicle intermittently pulls to the right, cause unknown. Please give any further details.
