Windshield wipers would stay in upright position whenever switch is turned off. Windshield wipers would not return to down position. Dealer was notified for repairs. Feel free to provide any further details on this matter .
My windshield wipers stay in upright position. It makes it hard to see the road. I have erad several other complaints about this but there has been nothing done about it.

Windshield wipers remain in an upright position when they are turned off. As a result, driver and passengers are left with limited field of vision through the windshield. Windshield wipers block driver's ability to see oncoming cars, create blindspots, and hazardous conditions.

Left windshield wiper does not reach the left edge of the windshield. It stops 3-4 inches short, leaving left side of windshield unclean. This obstructs visibility during normal driving and rainy conditions.

While driving windshield wipers make a grinding noise, causing wipers to become inoperable.
Owner states that his windshield wipers will not clear windows only when the temperature drops to about 25 degrees fahrenheit or lower. Service people claim it is a problem on 95, 96 and 97 Cavaliers.
Would be driving with defroster on high when windshield wipers would freeze up. Windshield would cloud over when snow hits windshield. This causes poor visibility for driver. Have taken to dealership, but the mechanic could not resolve problem.
