Purchased new 2005 Colorado. Terrible gas mileage. Took into dealer and was told to allow engine time to break in. Also, the dealer also mentioned by accident that they have had several complaints about this. The truck now has 3000 miles and still getting 12 mile per gallon. I was also told to try different gas stations fuels. Still nothing has changed. I do not have a heavy foot nor do I have the cash needed to keep filling my tank.
