I was on the interstate traveling approximately 60mph when my lights went out. I had to pull over, and their was a good deal of traffic. I discovered that my bright lights were working. I had this problem off and on for awhile. I took my car in to have it repaired. I got it back and continued having the problem. I have avoided driving at night which limits the use of your car. Most people would consider this to be dangerous and definitely a safety issue-driving and having your lights go out in traffic.

My low beam lights stopped working. Got had driven to a location in daylight. 2 hours later (dark) I started the car and the low-beams didn't come on. I got home (on fog lamps) and inspects the fuse box. Thought the low beam relay was faulty so went in another vehicle to purchase one. Replacing the relay, the lights came back on. I thought the problem was fixed until the next day, the same thing happened. This is when I did some research and found my car is part of a gm recall; gm recall #: n130146 NHTSA recall #: 14v-251 date issued: may 28, 2014 this same symptom has happened every day since. I booked my car into lonestar Chevrolet, houston, to have this taken care of. The technician, manager and Chevrolet contact center all told me the same thing. "the parts to repair this aren't ready yet (4 months!!). You are perfectly safe to drive on high-beams. " in my opinion, it is irresponsible to tell your customer that there is nothing that can be done and to drive illegally at night in the mean-time.
My car is subject to a recall for the low beam headlamps, and chevy (the manufacturor) will not fix it. The dealer says they can fix it by replacing the fuse box, but chevy will not authorize it. I have been without my car for over a month. The dealer gave me loaner car, and I do appreciate that. However, I would like to get my car back. I am getting abosolutely nowhere with chevy, the manufacturer. I have no complaints with respect to the dealer.

Both the headlamps go out at the same time while driving. All the other lights seem to be working fine. Car left in the garage overnight and the headlamps functionality returned. This happened two days in a row (11june2014, 12jun2014). Please look into this safety issue and investigate. Thanks!.

Driving on highway at 60 mph and the low beam head lights went off without me turing them off. Car dash displayed " head lights suggested". They did not come back on.
I am driving at night all of a sudden my lights go out and will not come back on. . . . . Come to find out the fuse box gets to hot and the wires inside are affected causing it to fail the dealer says its not under warranty and I think this should be a recall. This almost caused me to crash into someone. If I did get hurt because of this I would file a law suit.
While driving my 2005 Corvette my head lights will go out. Sometimes when I start my car they will not even come on. I cannot drive my car at night time.

I was driving on the highway when the low beam head lights suddenly went out. The car will continue to lose function of them after about 15-30 minutes of use. Once the car is parked over night they will regain use in the morning but then lose function again once the engine bay is warm.
While driving early morning low beam headlamps suddenly turned off without warning. I still had high beams, but blinded oncoming drivers. After pulling off road, cycling ignition and headlamp switch low beams still inoperable. Searching NHTSA website lists potential problem with engine bay fuse box. Could have caused a serious accident.
While driving home from work, the lights on the car went out. After pulling off the road to a service station, I notice all the light were working except for the drive light. After attempting to turn the light on an off, checking the fuses and finding out the high beam were working. I drove home with high beams. The next day I took it to a repair shop and they said the light were working. Then that evening, again the low beam when out while driving, I realized that they work for about 30 to 45 minutes before the cut out every time. I took it back to the repair shop and spoke with them. They have said that this is on going issue and the dealership is aware of. For they keep fuse boxes for Corvettes in stock, making a comment that they don't keep fuse boxes in stock for his truck. I have check out a few forum and found out that his has been a consistent issues for this model of Corvettes. This is a very serious safety issue, as you depend on the dependability of having lights while driving. If someone is unprepared when this happens, there could be a serious accident that can cause serious injury or death. I believe that it is a responsibility of individuals to ensure that the vehicle is safe and it is the responsibility when there a multiple related issues about the same complaint. The manufacture is responsible for ensuring that the product a safe and reliable product for the consumer. Again, this need to be address before something seriously happens to someone, if it hasn't already happen. . Updated 05-09-14 .
The low-beam lights keep cutting-off when the engine temperature reaches normal temperature. After shutting down the vehicle, the engine cools-off and then the lights will come back on, only to again cut-off when the engine is turned back on again. . .
Low beams suddenly went out while driving at night. . Almost causing a crash when I was unaware that they were out and another vehicle was marking left hand turn and did not see me. . .
This is my second complaint about the low beams on my car. They turn off when I am drive at night which makes me drive with the high beams on. This is my only vehicle so I have to drive it at night. Tonight I was on the freeway drive with my high beams on when another driver slowed down and swerved towards my car trying to run me off road because my high beams were on. This isn't the first incident, some one got into my lane then got back into the other lane slowed for me to pass them then got very close to the back of my car and put there high beams on they were in a truck and there lights were blinding. Which made it very hard for me to see. I know that is how it is for car that are in front of me. I am afraid someone is going to take there rage farther then just a swerve. Does this have to become deadly before chevy recalls this problem.
The low beam headlamps won't turn on after car is warm - and low beam headlamps turn off while driving at night.
After starting the vehicle an letting it run for a few mins the lights just went out for no reason do not know why or how.
3rd time now the low beams just shut off. You have to leave the car cool down before they will work. I was going around a corner on a dark road when the failed and I went off the road. Had to drive home with high beams on which was very unsafe for other drivers.
I was driving my 2005 Corvette home at night and my low beam lights suddenly stopped working. There was nothing I could do, but use my bright lights, which was an obvious hazard to oncoming traffic. This is not the first time this has happened. The next day I started the car. . . My low-beams came on and seemed to work. I then drove my car and after only a few minutes the lights went off again. This intermittent problem has been consistently occurring. Due to the nature of the problem, I cannot believe there has not been a recall to date. This is an obvious safety issue that seems to be happening with many other 2005 Corvette owners.
Low beam lights just quit working. Fuse/relay is good and is a intermittent problem. Seems to be a heat related issue very unsafe at night.
While driving on the fwy my lights went off checked the following evening and they worked. While driving again they suddenly went off again.
While driving home from dinner, my low beam lights turned off with no warning. After pulling over and trying to remedy the problem to no avail. I ended up driving home with my high beams on. This problem happens more frequently and has put me and others at risk. Could please look into this problem.
My low beams turned off when I was driving.
