1 Vehicle Overheat problem

Failure Date: 06/15/2018

The car overheats, this is the 2nd time replacing the motor. The first time I replaced the motor, it was not the original motor. I bought the car used. The previous owner replaced the motor.

2 Vehicle Overheat problem

Failure Date: 12/06/2015

The cooling system in my 2011 chevy Cruze has failed for the 3rd time in my two year ownership. This is dangerous, my car overheated and went into idle mode on a 70mph interstate(81) with my family still inside. Chevy denys any problem! multiple class action lawsuits have been started regarding the faulty cooling system but they seem to just disappear. My car constantly smells of nauseating coolant and has been "fixed" twice now. So what gives? why is this not being addressed? the NHTSA needs to handle this problem as it is bigger than chevy will ever admit.

3 Vehicle Overheat problem

Failure Date: 11/03/2013

The contact owns a 2011 Chevrolet Cruze. The contact stated while driving 55 mph, the vehicle over heated and the check engine warning lamp illuminated. The vehicle was taken to the dealer and the technician diagnosed that the cooling system was defective which caused the cooling fluid and oil to mix. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The vehicle was not repaired. The failure and current mileage was 101,263.
