Tl- the contact owns a 2014 Chevrolet Cruze. The thermostat that reads the engine for engine cooling. The contact stated that after turning on their vehicle the check engine light illuminated and a message stating that the ac off due to high temperature. The contact stated while driving approximately 15 mph when the vehicle's check engine light was illuminated when suddenly the vehicle was unable to accelerate and the vehicle suddenly went idle. The vehicle was taken to a certified mechanic who was unable to cause of the failure. The contact took the vehicle to the dealership (klik lewis located at 720 e main st, palmyra, PA 17078 phone number 717-838-1353) who stated that the vehicle's tank was blown, the tank began to melt, the vehicle's hose were infused to the tank and the sensor failed. The vehicle had not been repaired. The manufacturer was not aware of the issue. The approximate failure mileage was 83,557. Gl.
