My car is brand new brought it at 9miles on dash. Exactly 2 months later outta nowhere there was this grinding sound when I would brake like the sound of rooters grinding as if brakes where bad ,,4 other people heard and witnessed it,, I pumped brake it felt like and sound like only air but loud air and grinding, took it back to dealer next day ,,and they did nothing (marlow heights) he told me to come back Monday cause it found like faulty brake issue,, I looked it up and some models where recalled for same thing. Associate told me they do service on recalls mon-fri,(which I thought was strange cause brakes are serious nobody could check nothing?)), came back Monday they put my car on electronic machine no flags where on my system,,for sensors going off! but I had no break function on that Saturday,,this need to be looked into by gm.

My brakes keep going "hard" and not functioning properly. About a year ago I had my master cylander, brake booster, microswitch in the brake vacuum line, maf sensor and air intake hose replaced because the mechanic said those were the issues, I went 2 weeks without my vehicle, including breaking down for multiple days out of state. Now here I am with the same issues. Before I had them replaced I was told that the microswitch in the brake system was already recalled and replaced. But since then it has failed again. I was told by chevy that they only do the recall once, but if they are replacing it with a faulty part shouldn't that be recalled again? I have two toddlers in my vehicle regularly and losing the power brakes could end very bad. The power brakes fail almost every day, usually the first time I hit the brakes after starting to vehicle. Witch make me think that its going to completely fail again soon.

Let me list all that is wrong with my car: stabillitrack traction control purge valve tire sensor transmission lights flicker when I come to a stop and use my turn signal intake manifold brake booster car stalls and sometimes doesn't even want to start. All of these things are part of the recall for my 2012 chevy Cruze but for some reason it says my VIN # isn't part of the recall. How is that??.

2012 Chevrolet Cruze recalled for brake failure at low speed. It was allegedly repaired at bacharodt Chevrolet, pompano beach, FL. Subsequently, the brakes again failed and a crash resulted against a wall at low speed in my apartment parking lot. After complaint to gm was sent to auto nation Chevrolet, delray beach FL and they determined that the recalled replacement sensor for the brakes was not put on correctly by bachrodt, and that they failed again and that caused the crash, no injuries. Gm picked up cost of repair in full including body damage.
The check engine light came on in the vehicle. I took it to the dealership where it was purchased to get it inspected and have the code read. They said that the code was due to the brake pedal position sensor and it needed to be repaired for approximately $500. The vehicle was just barely out of warranty when this problem occurred. Many times, with the engine running and in the idle state with the brake down, the engine will lurch forward as if it had a jolt of energy. This happens intermittently and on different elevations and locations while the car is stopped. It worries me that the car will lurch forward while stopped and hit the car in front of me, which is why it is a safety concern. I feel as thought the manufacturer should be responsible for the costs to repair this brake sensor and it should be considered a recall on the vehicle. I have read of many other customers with the same issue on the vehicle model and year.

The contact owns a 2011 Chevrolet Cruze. The contact stated that while driving at 65 mph, the steering wheel became difficult to turn. The contact had to apply excessive force to the steering wheel in order to turn the vehicle.
