Broken mode select gear. Unable to change the heat to defrost and the windshield will not clear in cold weather.
Abs system is failure. Stability, traction control. Catalytic converter failure, mileage reading failure.
Hvac blend door lever, which controls the function of properly moving the air from floor to vent to defrost, broken, resulting in inability to properly switch to defrost mode for safe operation of vehicle and driver visibility. Included are pictures of manufacturer original part, and newly designed aftermarket part. While the part has been redesigned to correct the original manufacturing design (new part is gm 13263335), no recall has been issued for this matter. This poses consequences to consumers, and replacing the part requires a complete removal of the dash, at an estimated cost to consumer of $1,000, as quoted by gm dealership in mankato, mn.
I was driving in a heavy rain storm and the drivers side wiper stopped working. Upon inspection there seems to be a recall on certain Cruze vehicles for this problem.

Unknown- 2015 chevy Cruze - the regulators in the automatic windows keep breaking- I have replaced regulators 3 times- and the two front windows will not go up or down now-I just fixed the passengers side window about a month ago and its broken again. - the clock does not keep time correctly- had a coolant leak twice - and the tires seem to lose tread pretty quickly- replaced tires a few years ago- does not have very good traction control- very difficult to see with glares no matter if its freshly cleaned-nothing but problems with this car- I usually love my chevy's but this car is a lemon- as soon as I paid it off all this started happening- and I can't afford another car at this point.

It began raining and turned wipers on and driver side quit working and it was coming a downpour almost. I ended up bumping guard rail causing a few hundred dollars worth of damage to my car.
The heater blend door actuator and or lever gear for the blend door actuator that controls the windshield defrost failed and this raises a major safety concern as it strictly limits your visibility. This is becoming a known issue on the Cruze as I have seen and heard of the problem repeatedly online in the Cruze forums. This needs to be seriously addressed to general motors and be taken care of. Plus the cost to fix it is over $1,300. 00 as the entire dash needs to come out. Please address this safety concern.
The problem I have is a very, very common problem and a huge safety issue to my life or anyone with the same car within around 2011 to 2015. The cheap plastic levers for the mode actuator for my defrost and vents do not work. They have broken and this I barely have any heat coming out of the front vents and absolutely none coming from the defrost. This is a huge issue and highly affects my driving in the cold and snowy, or even rainy, weather. I’m so upset there has not been a recall thus far. No one wants to spend 1000 dollars for a five dollar part when it’s not their fault that the levers are faulty! this is Chevrolets and thus, gmcs problem. My safety is highly threatened when I can’t defrost the ice nor the fog over my windshield meaning I cannot see!! I scrape it and as soon as I drive it gets worse I had to pull over today because I couldn’t see at all! it’s scary and not okay! please admit to the mistake and fix the problem. Please!.

The windshield wiper transmission failed on my ‘15 Cruze in the middle of a rain storm caused my hurricane ida. The problem has been confirmed by my husband who is a mechanic at a Chevrolet dealership. No warning lamps, messages, or other symptoms of the problem were present prior to the onset of the problem. It had been raining a lot due to hurricane ida, the last time I used my wipers they worked fine. When it started raining again I tried to cut my wipers on and only my driver side wiper worked. My passenger side wiper stayed in its downward resting position and did not move or make any noises.
The driver's windshield wiper is not working properly. It seems that the wiper has become loose. I live in florida and it rain a majority of the time, so this is a issue when it comes to driving everywhere.

Windshield linkage fails while in use( driving in rainstorm) leaving driver with no wipers on drivers side.
The drivers side wiper would not work when started today while it was raining while parked in my driveway. I took the cover off of the escutcheon above the wipers to see why the arm was not being driven by the motor. The arm moved freely back and forth on the windshield. The short arm from the wiper motor to the drive plate for the wiper was off. The arm would not snap back in place. It appears that the plastic knuckle has failed. When searching for wiper failures in the Cruze most of the complaints were for this identical failure. Many owners were driving on the road when it failed and I was fortunate that it failed before I left for work as it would have failed while driving in traffic. There are no recalls listed for this defective part. Since is an important safety issue I determined it is best to make this formal complaint. The part number for the wiper linkage is 95971326 and this is what needs to be replaced. The attached photos show the arm off in #1 and #3 while #2 shows the position where it is normally.
I was driving to work, on I-95, and it was raining hard enough for me to have my wipers moving constantly. Out of nowhere, the driver side wiper just stopped working. It went up, but it never came back down.
Passenger side wipe blade stopped working while driving on highway during winter conditions. Extremely dangerous in snow on the highway. Needs to be fixed ASAP.

My 2014 chevy Cruze left wiper suddenly stopped working. The car had been parked just a few hours and the wipers were working.
The hvac blender door mechanism ( heat mode door lever) broke which disables the defrost mode in the car. This happened during a winter storm and I could not see through the windshield and only partial vision of the road. Very very dangerous situation and going forward. Very expensive fix, so I am debating weather to spend the money to fix myself.
While driving today, it began to rain, my driver side wiper was working, then 3 mins into it being on, it stopped. Car has ~87500k miles. I accessed the wiper arm linkage, and it had the driver arm bushing had worn out.
The wiper transmission broke on the driver's side. I can look through the plastic shield and see if has came apart. I have no drivers wiper function no more. I see online this is a common problem with Cruzes. The car only has 54k on it. I now have to pay a $100 deductible on my extended warranty. This should never have gone bad this soon and should be covered by gm. Its a safetly hazard not having a wiper in raining weather which itas been raining for days lately.
I have a 2014 Chevrolet Cruze lt. On may 20th 2020 my driver side windshield wiper stopped working. Took car to a Chevrolet dealership to have it fixed the next day. They replaced the motor to the windshield wipers. Not even 2 months later on July 9th 2020 the driver side windshield wiper goes out again.
When the driver side wiper is in motion the arm reaches too far to the left and get stuck or arm connection under the windshield that look like a ball in socket dislocates when driving in the rain. Causing poor visibility.
The windshield wipers do full rotations but stop in the middle of the windshield.
Driver's side wiper has stopped working.
Driver side blade stopped working on highway in rain. Broken swivel connection on transmission arm and later repair replacing whole unit($300+).
The windshield defrost does not work like it is supposed too. When I put it on defrost and the heat on full blast, it will only heat the passengers side of the vehicle and not the drivers side of the vehicle which is a huge safety concern. On the driver's side there is cold air coming out of the vents which prevents the drivers side of the windshield to not defrost. When I drive, it only seems to get worst so I pull over and try to scrape the ice off as best as I can so I can properly see. This is a huge concern when it comes to upstate new york winters, especially when we have ice storms which is when I first encountered the issue. It fails to defrost the inside and outside of the windshield on the driver's side. This is a huge safety concern as it impairs visibility.
On my way home, my vehicle was in motion on the highway during heavy rain. I was so terrified didnt notice that something was wrong till I pulled over. The left windshield wiper had stopped working. I had to wait till the rain had stopped to go home.
When the climate control system is placed in defrost mode the air does not blow out the defroster vents and the windshield does not clear. This is a safety hazard especially in michigan with all the weather changes. There are many reports on line with videos of a gear on the defrost door stripped/broken, these reports go back years to current. Seems gm does not plan to authorize a recall for this safety issue. I checked with local chevy dealer and chevy customer service was told there is no recall related to this issue.
While riding on thee freeway in georgia yesterday the driver side wiper stopped. I turned thee wipers off and tried again after I pushed it back down. And now it's stopping a quarter of thee way. This car has been nothing but problems since I purchased it.
The windshield wipers would randomly stick half way up the windshield when turned on, and also happen as soon as I would turn the car on. Was dangerous when driving in the rain because I could not see where I was going and had to pull over multiple times to clear the windshield.
Car fogs then frosts up . Alss when it rains the outer part of windows have an add film and make it very hard to see after the windshield wipes the rain off. Very dangerous car. I have looked around and all seem to complain about it. How can they get away with this?.

One of the windshield wipers stopped working. It moves up a 1/2 inch then moves back down. Won't go any higher than that. Happed out of nowhere and the other works perfectly fine. It looks like a bolt or something is loose.
The windshield that Chevrolet puts in these cars is not very clear, I work in the glass industry and I notice it every time I drive it. You can see distortion in the film of the laminated glass. They replaced the windshield once, and I still see the distortion.

Excessive condensation inside the car. While running the ac, lots of water coming out of vents and very often it quickly covers the whole windshield to a state where there is 0 visibility. Recurring issue. Major issue. Life threatening condition.
Driving on the highway and the wiper stopped working on the center.
Radio/infotainment system display goes full bright even during night and cannot be dimmed and destroys the drivers night vision and can only be reset by stopping the car and cycling through reverse, to activate reverse camera. Also, reverse camera operation puts screen in full bright, which at night makes the display too bright to use, and distracting to the driver trying to safely operate the car in reverse at night. .
