The contact owns a 2006 Chevrolet Hhr. The contact stated that his vehicle has electronic steering, which sporadically becomes inoperative and disables the steering mechanism. He took the vehicle to the dealer and they repaired the wiring to the fuse box. Several days later, while driving 10 mph, the steering column failed and the vehicle crashed into several street signs.
