Steering is hard to turn and makes a whining noise when driving.
Tl- the contact owns a 2010 Chevrolet Impala. The contact stated that the ignition was not responding several times upon turning the key over to start the vehicle. The contact stated that the vehicle also stalled several times with no warning. The steering wheel was tight with no warning and the contact had to apply force numerous times to turn the steering wheel. The contact was included in NHTSA campaign id number: 14v355000 (electrical system) and was unable to receive the recall repair. The contact indicated that the vehicle was not able to be driven and was towed to a yard. The contact was unable to gain access to the vehicle. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure.
