1 Automatic Transmission Torque Converter problem

Failure Date: 07/01/2020

Tl the contact owns a 2014 Chevrolet Impala. The contact stated that while driving at various speeds, the transmission would not properly shift into gear and the vehicle would not properly accelerate. Additionally, a screeching sound was present coming from underneath the vehicle while accelerating. The vehicle was taken to the local dealer - bill estes Chevrolet located at 4105 w 96th st, indianapolis, in 46268, who diagnosed that the transmission torque converter was faulty and needed to be replaced. The torque converter was replaced however, the failure persisted. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 122,000.

2 Automatic Transmission Torque Converter problem

Failure Date: 11/10/2017

Bucking when shifting gears. Engine cutting off. Had to replace solenoids and torque converter. Problems started at 115,000 miles.
