1 Tire Bubble problem of the 2011 Chevrolet Impala

Failure Date: 11/20/2013

All 4 tires showed tread separation with mileage between 34000 and 49000 miles. The tread bubbled up on the inside tread edge of all tires. I had 3 flat tires due to this defect. Goodyear only offered what they called "good will" replacement at about half price. I paid to have the first 2 replace on 02/16/2013 and 11/04/2013. Both of these tires went down after highway driving. On 11/19/2013 I rotated the tires and noticed the remaining 2 original tires were showing signs of separation on the inside edge of the tread. Contacted goodyear and they would only discount them by half after having 4 out of 4 tires go bad. I left the goodyear store and am having 4 michelin tires put on. I think goodyear should refund me what the first 2 tires cost me and they can have them back. I don't think these tires should be on the road they are not safe.

2 Tire Bubble problem of the 2011 Chevrolet Impala

Failure Date: 06/13/2013

I purchased a 2011 chevy Impala at the end of December 2012. Since then, I have put about 10,000 miles on the vehicle with goodyear eagle LS-2 tires. Unfortunately, starting on June 13, 2013 I have had a series of sidewall blowouts. The first blowout was June 13. The second was July 29. The third was August 27. The first two blowouts happened while at speed on the highway. Fortunately, the third one happened while in town and driving less than 25 mph. I heard a sound very similar to what I heard prior to the other two blowouts, so I immediately pulled over and inspected my tires. I have a photo of the bubble that formed on the inside sidewall. Not three minutes later, that bubble blew out and the tire quickly deflated. This is now three tires, all goodyear eagle LS-2, that have blown out in less than three months. Based on the number of complaints left at NHTSA, I cannot believe this is an isolated incident with my vehicle, especially when the shop owner at the tire store told me "that's a manufacturer defect, a faulty and busted belt" upon seeing the photo of the bubble.

3 Tire Bubble problem of the 2012 Chevrolet Impala

Failure Date: 08/20/2012

I bought a 2012 Impala . 2 days after I bought it from dealer had tire go down from bubble on sidewall. A month later same thing. Had blow out with 3 couple days ago. Went and bought new set and found out 4th tire had bubble. Now I hate I bought another set of goodyear eagle ls2. How can I get my money back k from goodyear or new tires.

4 Tire Bubble problem of the 2009 Chevrolet Impala

Failure Date: 09/08/2011

A front tire developed a bubble protruding from a sidewall crack on the inside of my goodyear LS-2 tire. A second LS-2 failed from a similar sidewall crack at just over 30,000 miles. My 3rd LS-2 is currently failing on the interior sidewall with about 48,000 miles on the car. The tread was good on all tires replaced.
