Brakes Failed Problems of Chevrolet Lumina

Consumer was involved in an accident while making a normal stop due to brake failure. 2 weeks prior to the accident, consumer took vehicle to dealer . But, dealer did not check brakes.

Was parking vehicle, went to apply brake, and brakes failed. Contacted dealer.

Brakes fail completely when wet. Dealer cannot fix problem, claiming nothing can be found wrong.

When applying the brakes under normal conditions, the pedal went to the floor and the brakes failed to stop the vehicle.

Brakes fail to engage properly when wet (from rain or car wash). Same problem as NHTSA campaignim01i014000. Not a recall but looking at the complaints for Lumina and monte carlo I think it should be. Feel free to drive mine and see what you think.

When applying brakes after 35mph on wet roads, brakes failed. Felt like not having brakes when applied, and extended stopping distance. Brakes were getting wet and a few seconds later, would dry out before catching. Had been in contact with dealer and informed no recall.
