One problem related to brake loud noise has been reported for the 1999 Chevrolet Malibu. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Brake rotors and pads had to be replaced at 14,000 miles. Vibrations even though rotors/pads replaced. Currently at 36,000 miles. Also had loud noises when brakes first applied at cold start.
