1 Brake Grinding Noise problem

Something wrong with the brakes. Dealer can not duplicate. When you go to slow down thw brake pedal will sink and vibrate and give you a grinding noise for just a second. Only happens right after start up. Does not happen on a regular basis.

2 Brake Grinding Noise problem

Failure Date: 05/28/2001

When trying to make a stop, there is grinding noise when the brakes are pressed. Brakes wear out every 2-3 months(paying an expensive amount for brake shoes and rotors air conditoning switch malfunctions and you just cannot trade this car in because the value depreciates the same day you drive off the car lot.

3 Brake Grinding Noise problem

Failure Date: 11/20/2000

Brakes made excessive loud banging and grinding noise when applied at 10 to 15 miles per hour. This happen twice in a row. Had car towed to dealer as I considered it unsafe to drive. Dealer reports that they are not able to duplicate the failure and that brakes were operating to gm standards. This car has had the brakes and rotors replaced twice in the past six months.

4 Brake Grinding Noise problem

Failure Date: 09/21/2000

Brakes pulsate excessivly and there was a groaning or grinding noise when brakes were applied. The dealer replace the front rotors and pads per service bulletin # 00-05-23-002. This was the second time the pads and rotors were replaced see odi # 736612.

5 Brake Grinding Noise problem

When pressing on brakes consumer noticed a grinding noise. Dealer has been notified.
