Front Seat Recliner Problems of Chevrolet Malibu

The front two (2) metal latches that secure the driver's seat to the sliding rail failed resulting in the seat rotating on the rear latches with the driver laying on their back partially in the back seat. Both front latches failed with the metal cracked and sheared. The entire front seat will have to be removed. *akfortunately, the vehicle was not inoperation at the time.

While driving, the passenger side seat collapsed and the lever sheared off. The driver 's side seat collapsed as well. The dealer repaired the driver's seat twice but the passenger still has the problem. The consumer has contacted the dealer for an appointment to bring it in for repairs. Rear seat back lower mount bolts failed during vehicle collision resulting in broken back of occupant.

Rear seatback is falling to the floorboard due to a retainer missing from the seat. Consumer has contacted the dealer, dealer has replaced clips, problem still occurs,. Consumer therefore contacted a second dealer, dealer stated that retainer was missing before vehicle left the assembly line. Please provide any further details.
