Speed Control Linkage problems of the 1997 Chevrolet S10

1 Speed Control Linkage problem

Failure Date: 06/21/2000

While driving vehicle accelerated suddenly and unexpectedly. Driver had to put vehicle into neutral to stop. Repair shop observed problem.

2 Speed Control Linkage problem

Failure Date: 01/22/1999

When he driving vehicle suddenly accelerated when in traffic.

3 Speed Control Linkage problem

Failure Date: 01/17/1998

While driving at 35 mph, the throttle stuck, causing the vehicle to increase speed. Owner then placed vehicle into neutral and engine started racing over 6000 rpm.
