Two problems related to vehicle speed control have been reported for the 1997 Chevrolet S10. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Pieces of thottle body broke off and went into engine, ruining cylinder/piston #5. Dealer claims that someone broke it off. My machanic states that there is no evidence other than it snapping off.
Engine accelerates on it's own, 1100 to 2200 rpm, must shut off to correct.
