One problem related to front suspension lower ball joint has been reported for the 1998 Chevrolet S10. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Lower ball joints had to be replaced on both sides or vheicle, would not have passd inspection. Three different state inspection stations confirmed it. Consumer stated GMC was contacted, but repeatively found no problem, and passed vehicle for inspection.
