Three problems related to rear suspension have been reported for the 1998 Chevrolet S10. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
My vehicle leans to the left approx. 1 1/4 inch. The truck is unstable at highway speeds especially on wet roads. It darts to right when braking.
Left side of vehicle lower than right by 1 1/4 inch. Causing unpredictable steering especially on wet roads. Six other vehicles in my area have same problem. Service manager confirmed it was a known problem. No repair at present other than trial & error.
Rear end vibrates very hard at 50 mph, and also overheats. Dealer has been contacted.
