Three problems related to radiator have been reported for the 1998 Chevrolet S10. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
The consumer had multiple problems with this vehicle. The spark wires corroded, the head gasket leaked and the transmission did not work properly when shifted. Dealer notified. Also the radiator erupted between the transmission cooler and the cooler of the radiator.
Thermostat housing failed. Yh.
Radiator failed - oil in coolant. Repair shop advised that cooler hose in radiator burst. Replaced radiator, flushed system four times. After the vehicle was driven another 1000 miles, again flushed system and replaced all hoses. Cost approximately $800. 00. Oil still in coolant.
