Two problems related to tire sidewall have been reported for the 1999 Chevrolet S10. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Firestone fr440 purchased new for 99 Chevrolet s-10 pickup with 33,900 miles. After new tires had 150 miles on them, I had a blow out at 65 mph on the freeway. The tire was shredded, sidewall looked really thin. Tire was replaced because I had purchased "road hazard warranty" wanted 4 new tires for light truck. Still pending.
Was traveling 65mph on highway and two rear tires tread started to separate from sidewalls. Uniroyal, tiger paws. There was no accident.
