Two problems related to abs brake fail have been reported for the 2000 Chevrolet S10. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Previously owned 1996 S10 which was recalled for this very same problem. No safety defect listed within summary. The abs brakes failed suddenly while the consumer was driving on gravel driveway and caused accident resulting in extensive damage to the vehicle.
Abs system failed due to a computer glitch, dealer is awaiting a new computer program, this glitch leaves vehicle with no abs brake causing the consumer loss of control of vehicle while braking. Nlm.
