The contact owns a 2001 Chevrolet s-10. The contact stated that while driving 35 mph, the vehicle stalled. The vehicle was safely coasted to the shoulder and restarted as normal. The failure recurred several times later. The vehicle was not taken to the dealer for inspection. The contact stated that he performed a manual diagnostic, but was unable to determine the failure. The manufacturer was notified and stated that there were no known similar complaints. The vehicle was not repaired. The failure mileage was 145,000. . . . . Updated 08-24-12 the consumer stated all gauges shut down. The fuel pump was replaced. Updated 08/30/2012.

2 Car Stall problem

Failure Date: 06/16/2003

While traveling on the highway and without prior warning vehicle will stall and shut down.

3 Car Stall problem

Failure Date: 04/21/2003

The vehicle stalled, when the vehicle reached the speed of 50 mph.

4 Car Stall problem

While driving at 55/70 mph vehicle will stall out without warning. The dealership has replaced the catalytic converter, fuel pump, and sending unit.
