Three problems related to automatic transmission have been reported for the 2002 Chevrolet S10. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
In 2003 with 17600 miles the reaction sun shell broke in my 2002 chevy S10 pickup. It was repaired under warranty. On January 27 2007 with 56000 miles the same failure occurred. The truck has not been repaired and the part is still in the truck.
: the contact stated while attempting to back up the vehicle would not shift into reverse. This happened without warning. The vehicle was driven to the dealer where the transmission was replaced.
The vehicle was in park with the engine running, when all of a sudden the vehicle rolled backwards. . Consumer was injured when he tried to get back in the vehicle to stop it.
