One problem related to vehicle shudder has been reported for the 2000 Chevrolet Silverado. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Vehicle is experiencing a loud cluncking noise when turning a corner and accelerating at the same time. Also, vehicle is not downshifting to proper gear ,causing a vibration throughout vehicle when driving at speeds between 35-45 mph. When changing to any gear from park position, vehicle will jerk. Manufacturer has acknowledged defect, but cannot fix it. Cause is unknown.
