When slowing down to stop, app 5 to 10 mph, before stop. Brake pedel will soft and pluse like brakes went away but stoping you. Its feels like you lost your brakes. Its been steaty app 9 out of 10 times. Had vehicle check out several places for bakes issues, new rotors ,pads ,drums, and shoes . Plug in computer no codes on brakes or abs system. Its can be scary when driving trying to stop.
My 2006 silverado [ after dealer changed front brake pads] started low speed abs activation. I almost went through a stop sign. Dealer says over 36,000 no warranty work. I had to remove abs fuse to drive truck. I had 36,300 miles at time if occurrence.
Brake pads have cut into rotor on both left and right front disc. Took it back to dealer and took them off and resurfaced the rotor and pads. Would not replace! after driving home about 30 miles rotors were already starting to groove again!.
