The contact owns a 2007 Chevrolet Silverado 1500. The contact stated that the engine misfired, causing the vehicle to stall. The contact inspected the vehicle and located the failure at the electronic control module (ecm). The ecm wiring had become disconnected from the plastic insulation. The contact replaced the electronic control module wiring. The approximate failure and current mileage was 63,000.

2 Car Stall problem

Failure Date: 01/15/2008

The contact owns a 2007 Chevrolet Silverado 1500. The contact was driving 35 mph when the vehicle stalled without warning. The contact was unable to restart the vehicle. Each time the vehicle was towed to the dealer they were unable to repair the problem and returned the vehicle to the contact unrepaired. The manufacturer was contacted and offered no assistance. The failure mileage was 20,000 and the current mileage was 45,000.
