2015 chevy silverado, 62,300 miles. While driving at highway speeds. The air condition compessor locked up. Causing the engine to die and causing the loss of power steering and power brakes. I was unable to brake in a timely manner and had to swerve to avoid stopped traffic. It seems there are thousands complaining of the same issue online. There was no warning. I have contacted the dealer and they say there is no recall.
I am having issues with my transmission. When I first turn on the truck in the morning, put it in gear, and lightly accelerate the truck accelerates way too fast then cuts out the power. It is enough to throw me forward or back in my seat and it honestly is frightening. I am also having problems with the vehicle shifting incorrectly causing me to have no power or a sudden surge of power. This is usually when I have slowed down and them am trying to accelerate again. Also, when I am slowing down to stoplights, the vehicle will occasionally shift down to too low of a gear and act like I am slamming on the brakes. I have had several close calls with this truck due to this issue. Gm knows about the issue and has refused to recall the vehicles that are having these problems. They are recommending changing out the fluid multiple times at the owners costs. This has resulted in several class action lawsuits. They also have gone to the lengths of changing warranty coverage to no longer include abnormal shifting. This is not safe. This is causing accidents and they are actively covering it up. Please help the hundreds of thousands of people that are having issues. We need your help, I need your help and gm is no longer standing behind their vehicles.
Steering and braking stops working during low speed. Ac stops working and several components flash a warning message trailer hitch and stabilizer and engine light appears sporadically. It shows that I do not have recalls but I believe the repairs in the past were not done correctly. Old software or a electrical short from an faulty part!!!!!.
Currently, the ac is no functioning properly. Mechanic states that the hose leading to the compressor that's mounted towards the radiator is cracked and he can see oil from the ac system that has leaked out over time. Parts are being ordered to replace and repair so that the ac system will work properly. Improper ac function is not acceptable during the spring/summer months, and ac is needed to be able to cool the vehicle down there were no warning lamps or messages. We determined the system was low on coolant because it was not cooling properly.
Lifter collapsed on highway.
Afm active fuel management caused engine failure.
While driving, the engine suddenly stalled forcing me to take evasive action to exit the roadway. After having the vehicle towed to the dealership, I was informed the cp4 fuel pump had failed. The cost of the repairs totaled $13,296. 39, plus towing. The repairs took seven weeks to complete.

Gm active fuel management has caused multiple collapsed lifters, bent pushrods and camshaft damage on 2 separate occasions costing thousands of dollars in repairs shortly after the factory warranty ended. 2015 Chevrolet silverado with ecotec 5. 3 liter engine.
Lifters collapsed got it inspected by a dealer check engine light came on for a misfire.
Radiator leaking for unknown reason. No damage to front end or from under truck. I have been smelling anti freeze for about the past year but could not see any signs of any leaks until now. Still no sign of a leak on the ground but can see it on the bottom of the radiator support.
While slowing down to make a right turn the engine stalled and the electrical power was lost rendering the power steering inoperable. The loss of power steering created a dangerous situation where I almost hit a tree. Also there has been several occasions while driving on the freeway the electrical power stalled. Thankfully it was only for less than two seconds, but I can't imagine what would have happened on a busy freeway had it not been only a temporary loss of power. I read online that these problems are not uncommon. I have taken the truck to a chevy dealer where they replaced battery cables they said had some resistance in them. It's been a month since the repair ($1300 later) was made and have not experienced any problem since. After experiencing these "power failers", there would be a message on the dash that would state "open then close driver window'.
The radiator is leaking and the transmission is making a clunking noise when shifted to reverse. The pickup has 48000 miles on it.
Thermostat cycling causing cracking in radiator. This is a factory problem that should absolutely be under warranty.
For months I have been experiencing small issues at first, turn signal quit making noise, and then the radio quit working, this issue would only be corrected by turning off the vehicle, and restarting it, now the problem has gotten worse, tpms lights up on the dashboard the stabillitrack icon appears, and vehicle appears to stall momentarily and the radio goes blank, the most dangerous part is the electric steering wheel locks up, I have read several complaints online about this issue, and find no solution has ever been recorded, so far I have experiment this issue at low speeds and it is a interment problem that randomly happens.
Air conditioner blowing hot air. Does not hold coolant when replaced or recharged.
My silverado has already had the software upgrade related to the previous vacuum pump/brake recall (n192268490). It initially helped, but now the brake pedal is again extremely hard to press at slow speeds, such as in traffic. You need to almost stand on it to stop. It appears that the deterioration is back where it was before the software "fix. " I will be taking to the dealership this week and requesting a replacement of the vacuum pump under warranty or recall. I am beyond regular powertrain warranty at this point, but brakes seem like they should work past 80k.
Truck has 98,500 miles on it. Radiator is cracked and leaking, roof leaks when raining, electric power steering randomly jerks the wheel out of your hand and almost causes you to crash.
I have about 85000 miles on my car, I was driving to work and the engine light came up. The code for the engine light came up as p06da which most likely indicates a problem with the engine oil control solenoid (based on most of the videos and reviews on the internet). Unfortunately, gm never made a recall about this!! this problem costs about 3k to fix at the dealer.
Air conditoner isnt working there is many complaits for cracked lines and faulty brackets.
I estimate this has happened over 10 times. I lose all electrical power to the vehicle and the car shuts off, often this is preceded by loss of power steering and low speed. The last time this happened when pulling out into traffic; the steering kicked back, the truck lost all electrical power, dash went blank, radio dark, including loss of head lights, I will reiterate that this happened while pulling into traffic. This truck cost me over $40k new and I believe chevy is aware of the problem, then simply don't want to cover the cost of parts and labor to fix. The dealership told me they had no idea what the issue could be, then I found several gm documents online. It appears this is a known issue, and they even list 2015 silverado on documents. Bulletin no. : 18-na-161 (the issues in this match exactly what I've experienced) also reference number:n172085440 please help me convince Chevrolet to fix this issue or force them to do a recall.
Often, when making low speed turns the entire engine and electrical system shuts off. There is no power steering when this happens and it's difficult and dangerous to try to coast to a safe spot to try to restart the vehicle. Generally, it starts back up again within a few minutes. In the three years that we've owned the vehicle, it has been to two different chevy dealerships more than once and both dealerships say there's no problem. It's frustrating that it seems to be a common issue yet there's no answer to the problem and no recall.
Rpms were rising above 6,000 without any power. Randomly while on highway, truck only had 112,000 miles on it and had to have a new transmission put in. And has had many other issues such as the lifters closing while on the highway and brake issues. The worst model truck ever made.
It had a problem with the motor, at 50000 we bought it brand new. Dealer said it was a problem with some gaskets inside motor.
Afm activated ,lifter failure occurred. Engine cel blinks erratic engine behavior sudden loss of power and braking. Transmission starts shifting in and out of gears high low, severe bucking, high engine revving, cylinder misfire. Hard to stop very slow acceleration due to transmission in wrong gear and loss of power due to collapsed lifter. This is a major problem that gm is well aware of my 2007 monte carlo had same issue 8 years later the problem still exists. The vehicle is still under warranty and im sure they will cover the lifter all lifters should be replaced. And afm should be disabled.
