The vehicle was inspected by a dealer and they advised him that the abs sensor had failed and needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was also contacted and they advised him that there were no recalls for the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 110,000.

While driving at any speed the contact sensed vibration in the brake pedal when it was depressed, and extended stopping distance. The contact stated that the brake fluid was checked and looked satisfactory. The vibrations produced a rumbling noise that increased the harder the brake pedal was depressed. The instrument panel did not indicate when the abs activated. The current mileage was 130,450, and failure mileage was 129,700.
