The contact owns a 2005 Chevrolet Silverado 2500. The driver side tail light continues to fail. A local mechanic inspected the vehicle and stated that the light bulb was melting and disabled the prongs form touching, thus causing the bulb to fail. The dealer and manufacturer had not been notified. The failure mileage was 30,000 and current mileage was 62,000.
